Overview
Reflective is designed to help you easily complete therapy assignments, track progress, and receive resources shared by your therapist, either through a mobile app or via a web interface. This guide explains how to get started, including sign-up options and important privacy considerations.
A Note about Privacy and Support
Reflective does not provide an in-app chat function for patients. If you need technical support, you can use the chat support on our public website or email [email protected], keeping in mind that you should not disclose personal identifying information (PII). This approach helps protect your privacy and ensures you receive the assistance you need.
Getting Started
If you have a therapist’s QR code or invite link, open it to sign up directly on Reflective’s sign-up page. After you create your account, a “Get the App” button will appear, allowing you to download Reflective’s mobile app. The app makes it easy to stay logged in and receive reminders for your exercises.

If your therapist adds you directly, you will receive an invitation email to join Reflective. Use the link in the email to set up your account in the web interface.

Once your account is created, click the “Get the App” callout. It won’t appear again if you dismiss it, so follow this step to download the app at the right time. Or use these links: iOS App Store or the Google Play Store

Installing the Mobile App
You can install the Reflective mobile app from the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store. If your phone is password-protected or uses biometric security, you can opt to have your login credentials remembered. Make sure to grant permission for notifications so you receive alerts about assignments.

Notifications and Connection
After logging into the app, accept the connection with your therapist if you have not already done so. This ensures you can receive their exercises, resources, and any additional tools they share with you.

Using the Web Interface
If you prefer not to install the mobile app, you can access Reflective through a web browser on your computer or mobile device. Simply log in after creating your account to view and complete assignments, though note that you will not receive in-app reminders without the mobile application.

Summary
By following these steps—whether you joined via a QR code, invite link, or email invitation—you can quickly get started with Reflective and begin using the resources and assignments shared by your therapist. Remember to allow notifications for timely reminders and to maintain privacy when seeking technical assistance.
