Creating a Link Collection
Overview
Link Collections in Reflective allow you to group multiple URLs under one topic, making it easier to manage and assign resources to your patients or groups. This is especially helpful if you regularly share links on a specific theme, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) basics, or Somatic Exercises. In the patient mobile app, each link within a collection will appear individually in the “Resources” section, as if you added them one at a time. However, organizing your links into a collection streamlines your workflow by letting you manage them as a single unit in the Resource Library.
Steps to Create a Link Collection
1. Go to the “Links” Tab
Navigate to the main Resources section from the left-hand menu or top navigation bar, then select the Links tab. This section displays all of your saved links and link collections.
2. Click “Add Collection”
In the toolbar, you will see two primary buttons: Add Collection and Add Link. Click on Add Collection to start creating your new link collection.

3. Provide a Name and Description
Give your collection a clear Name that reflects its theme or purpose. In the Description field, add a short paragraph explaining what the collection covers. This helps you and your team remember its focus when viewing or editing the Resource Library.
4. Set as Default (Optional)
If you want every new patient who connects with you to automatically receive these links in their Resources section, check the box labeled “Load this collection for all new patients by default.” This can be especially useful if the collection covers material you believe is universally beneficial.

5. Add Links to Your Collection
Click Add Link to open a new link entry form.
- URL: Paste or type the link address in the URL field.
- Title & Image: These fields will often auto-populate based on the URL, especially for well-known sites.
- Description: Write a short explanation to give patients context about the link’s content.
- Save Link: Click this button to add the link to the collection.

Repeat the Add Link process as many times as needed to include all the relevant links in your collection.

6. Remove Links (If Needed)
If you need to remove a link before finalizing the collection, click the X button located to the right of that link. This is helpful for removing duplicates or any links added by mistake.

7. Save the Collection
When you are satisfied with the links you've added, click Save Collection. This action finalizes the new collection and adds it to your Resource Library. Each collection is denoted by a unique icon and displays a number indicating how many links it contains.

Managing Link Collections
Editing a Collection
Hover your mouse over the collection tile in the Resource Library. A pencil icon will appear in the top-right corner. Click the pencil icon to open the editing options. Here, you can update the collection’s name, description, default settings, or the links within it.

Deleting a Collection
Hover over the collection tile and click the trash bin icon in the top-right corner to remove it from your Resource Library.Important: You cannot delete collections that were added by the practice Owner if you are not the Owner. Similarly, you cannot delete the preloaded Reflective collections that come with your account.
Searching for a Link or Collection
Use the search field at the top of the tile grid to quickly locate specific links or collections in your Resource Library. This feature can save time if you have a large number of resources.
